Abstract
Our group has:
- shown hippocampal inflammation in psychotic patients (PET imaging)
- conducted a placebo controlled trial with antiviral drugs to reduce hippocampal inflammation
- conducted a study to determine neurinflammation with PET imaging in Q fever patients in comparison to CFS patients and controls
- initiated a study to determine viral presence in cerebrospinal fluid in psychotic patients in comparison to herpes encephalitis patients and controls
